If you were to ask Joseph Marrero who Candidate Joseph Marrero is and was, you might need to set apart a portion of your day to understand Joseph’s dedication to his community and family. These are just some of the highlights of his life of service. Among his many hours of community work he can proudly list, being a volunteer firefighter in Pennsylvania and Connecticut for many years, being the founder and troop leader of Boy Scout pack 99 and committee chair for pack 77 in Allentown Pa., and running troop 186 in Roy. He was very active in education and served as a parent board member on the committee of the Community Services for Children, and an alternate officer for the board of directors of the same program. Working with so many groups has given Joe the opportunity to meet and interact with many people and political leaders in his community, from working directly with the office of the Mayor in Allentown, PA., to revitalizing an historic Revolutionary Veterans cemetery to its former glory and assisting in bringing back life and history to the Sun Inn in Bethlehem,PA. As well as being the president of 2 beekeeping groups in Utah, Weber beekeepers and Greater Salt Lake beekeepers. Being so Community minded has brought Joe to this point after moving here to his new home 4 years ago. He wishes to bring his experiences, community involvement, and a strong mindset towards education, community and environment to the people he calls his neighbors and friends in District 12, and the people of Utah.
